Found a neat way to make one of my shorter dresses a little more conservative without adding extra weight. It’s 80 degrees right now!
Going out for Shaina’s birthday :D I’m so pleased with my new spring wardrobe <3
Skirt and cardigan: Forever 21/Love 21
Thrifted blouse and genuine leather kimono belt (I’m in love with this thing!)
There’s me in the front row! The Christian Siriano collection was the best <3

Shirt Dress
Easter Sunday
Thrifted dress.
Old camisole.
A scarf from Ross.
I bought this dress in a thrift store yesterday. Originally it had a built in camisole of the same color, which I felt made it kind of boring. I cut out the camisole, and replaced it with a white one. The dress is a bit too large for me, so I took a light scarf and tied it as a sash. Tada!
Blouse: Urban Outfitters
Dress: H&M
Head band: Forever 21
My favorite part about combining dresses like this and loose blouses is that you can see the revealing cut through the blouse, and when the light catches you the right way, the close fitting figure, but it still is more modest and more appropriate for school than just wearing a sundress, and helps to offset the revealing nature of the dress itself.
Dress from Forever 21
Thrifted Blazer
I don’t know what I’m doing with my mouth here, but I kind of like the look it gave me.
Skirt and blouse from Forever 21
Thrifted blazer.
Rainy day in Charleston: BIG NEWS
I was approached today in a local cafe (getting my fix for midterm studying!) by a woman from the city’s magazine. They have a section for fashion where they stop people on the street, take pictures of them and ask them about what they’re wearing, and the lady wanted to do a shoot of me :D She got my information, and when I told her I had a fashion blog on Tumblr she said “ok, well instead of putting you down as a student and part time secretary, I’ll just write that you’re a fashion blogger.” I LOL’D
I guess I’ve made it to the big time now ^w^
Library Sunday. Inspired by Audrey.
Jeans and turtleneck from the Gap.
The scarf is from an antique store.
Dress and blazer from Urban Outfitters.
